Johnson Scholarship Foundation Business Program Award at Scottsdale Community College

This scholarship is to support American Indian students taking courses in business and/or entrepreneurship disciplines.


  • Must be pursuing a degree or certificate in Entrepreneurship, Business Administration or Management related fields.
  • Must be a registered member of a federally recognized United States Tribe.
  • Must provide a current class Schedule and a Degree Progress Report.
  • Must submit unofficial SCC transcripts with current cumulative GPA. (available through your Student Center at
  • Must demonstrated financial need determined by the completion of the free application for federal student aid (FAFSA) for current fiscal year and meet, Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP).
  • Students enrolled Part Time will need to be enrolled in (1 business class) and students enrolled Full Time will need to be enrolled in (2 business classes) for their certificate/degree.
    Examples include: ACC111, GBS151, MKT271 and SBS204.

Full-time students should complete a business certificate within 1 year and can be awarded for 2 semesters; and a degree within 2 years and be awarded for 4 semesters. Part-time students will adjust according to credits.


  • If you are renewing your application from last semester, you are NOT required to turn another essay, unless otherwise notified.

$1,250 (for full-time students) - $600 (for part-time students) -*online students are only awarded for tuition, fees, and books
