AIP Johnson Scholarship Foundation Business Program Award at Scottsdale Community College

2020-2021 Academic Year

This scholarship is to support American Indian students taking courses in business and/or entrepreneurship disciplines.


  • Must be pursuing a degree or certificate in Entrepreneurship, Business Administration or Management related fields.
  • Must be a registered member of a federally recognized United States Tribe.
  • Must provide a current class Schedule and a Degree Progress Report.
  • Must submit unofficial SCC transcripts with current cumulative GPA. (available through your Student Center at
  • Must demonstrated financial need determined by the completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for current fiscal year and meet, Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP).
  • Students enrolled Part Time will need to be enrolled in (1 business class) and students enrolled Full Time will need to be enrolled in (2 business classes) for their certificate/degree.
    Examples include: ACC111, GBS151, MKT271 and SBS204.

Full-time students should complete a business certificate within 1 year and can be awarded for 2 semesters; and a degree within 2 years and be awarded for 4 semesters. Part-time students will adjust according to credits.

Student will be notified through the American Indian Program office if they were selected for the scholarship. Questions about the scholarship may be directed to 480-423-6531.

$1,250 (for full-time students) - $600 (for part-time students) -*online students are only awarded for tuition, fees, and books
